Yesterday I went a little crazy in Superdrug and bought rather a few nail varnishes, but they were all so nice I couldn't say no. Plus I've been seeing so many cute colours on Pinterest I wanted to get some of my own.
The first one I picked up is from the Sally Hansen Salon Manicure range. I've wanted to try one of these for ages as they've got a base coat and top coat inside which is ideal for when you just want to really quickly paint your nails. I got it in the colour Jaded which is really nice minty green. This is the only one from what I bought yesterday that I've tried so far but it's already one of my favourite colours.
The second ones I picked up are all from Barry M. However two are from their latest range called Silk. I saw that these had been released on Twitter and so the trip to Superdrug was really only to see these and pick up a few. I decided to get two colours from this range: Blossom and Meadow. The model was wearing the greeny one in the advert and it looks really nice. I then picked up the pink because Barry M have got a 'buy one get one half price' offer so I thought I'd take advantage. I haven't tried these yet but I'm excited to see what they're like. The last Barry M one I decided to get is a really dark purple. I got this one because I thought it would look nice on toes, again I haven't used it yet.
I also picked up a colour from Rimmel's range. I don't usually buy nail varnishes from Rimmel but I thought that this was a really nice spring colour and would go with a jumper I recently bought. It actually looks a lot darker on the nail than it does in the pot so it doesn't go very well with the outfit I had in mind, but it's still a nice colour to have in my collection.
The final thing I picked up isn't too exciting. It's just a Top Coat from Collection's range but I'm really fussy when it comes to top coats, so we'll just have to see how I get on with this one!
